I feel so at home. There’s a deep chill in the air which reminds me of Oregon, Cali, Washington, and Minnesota, all at the same time. Thank you, Universe.
Today was surreal. Isaiah took me hiking in the redwoods and I was tearing up at the beauty. I’ve always just been so mesmerized by pines… something about them. I even told myself I’d buy my family a live Christmas tree just so I could smell it.
The walk through the forest was so divine and I felt like a forest fairy. The trees were tall and endless, surrounded by fog and mist. My hair moist, I felt nostalgic of Washington. Everything was so silent, so silent you could hear your own thoughts.
I watched the essence of these trees, in one place for hundreds of years. Able to be patient, humble, full of wisdom.
