I went on an adventure with Daniel Winslow to Kona. Now we are on our way back to Hilo and then Cinderland. This is the moment I realized I was crushing on him, even though he’s Ivan’s best friend. I felt like I made the wrong choice by being with Ivan. Daniel and I had way more similarities in how we wanted to live.
A girl named Celina felt pushed to ask me if I wanted my cards read. They were so spot on that it tweaked me out.
Here were my cards:
Assertiveness: Communicate clearly, say no when I felt I needed to. Speak my mind.
Be yourself: Be authentic, do not change myself to please others.
Marriage: This was mind blowing to me because just the night before when I was with Ivan on the beach, I was getting lost in thought and I said to him, “I’m noticing that we want different things. I want to live in a place like Cinderland, you want to live in a place with walls. You want to have kids, I don’t. I’m vegan, you’re not. You want to get married, I don’t.”
When I got that card and she read the description, two things made my heart beat faster. Before she began reading, I naturally looked at Daniel and blurted out, “This one’s for me and you, Daniel.”
As she was reading, here are the two things that resonated with me:
That I was going to get married to someone close in my life in this moment.
That I should shift my perception on marriage.
And then my last card was a birthday card.
